In the remote east, a beautiful princess Odette is wandering along the picturesque lake and picking beautiful flowers. Suddenly, the Rothbart, the Devil magician, appears and  swoops to the beautiful girl, takes her under its wings flying to the sky and turns her into a beautiful swan with his evil spell.

 

    In a European kingdom, to celebrate the Prince's birthday, the group are dancing and drinking in Palace, Two girls dance with the Prince sending their love to the Prince, but the Prince has no intention to them. After dancing, the prince is left along with his thought and looks at the swans in the lake. The Prince is going to shoot the swan with his new crossbow, the swans dive into water, the Prince follows.

 

The Prince boats to the fantastic forest and lakeside which is exactly the same in his dream. The swan princess appears and meets him and both are happy to find each other. They dance with great grace, accompanied by a group of swans swimming around. Suddenly, the Rothbart approaches and breaks all the sweetness. He takes away the swan girl and the prince has to chase again.

 

There is a great ball in Palace tonight, the queen gets on the stage to give a garland to the Prince (This symbolize that the one who finally wear the garland will be the prince’s beloved lady tonight. The Devil and the black swan appear and tempt the Prince. The prince mistakes the black swan as his lover and dance with her, at this moment the white swan flying away in the sky sadly, The prince suddenly understand everything and determines to save his lover at any expense.

 

The heart-broken white swan goes back to the lakeside. She tells all the fellow swans that her prince betrayed her and would marry the black swan. The prince  comes and ask Odette to forgive him. At that time, the devil swoops from the sky and drives away all the swans. Prince fights with the devil and snaps its wings with his wisdom. Finally, he wins over the devil and saves all swans. Swans turn into beautiful girls, among whom the prince finds his beloved one, Odette. Trees alongside lake seem to understand their love and blooms many colorful flowers.
